THE CONVERSATION
I thought it’d be fun to bring my man back onto the pod for a quick check-in to see how he’s feeling as we get closer & closer to meeting our sweet baby boy literally ANY FREAKING DAY NOW.
After the first trimester, he joined me on episode 058 to talk about our story from a scheduled vasectomy to “let’s have a baby,” how we navigated the trying first trimester, and how we were feeling about this major life transition.
So now that we’re 39 weeks with a homebirth on the horizon, I’m beginning to have practice contractions, and we’re holding space for our bub to make his way earthside - I wanted to check in and see how he’s feeling about becoming a DAD, how the second & third trimester was for him, what he’s excited AND nervous about with birth & parenthood fast approaching, what he'd recommend to any other first time parents out there, and how he went from being ANTI-homebirth to now being super ecstatic about it.
And don't worry - we'll be back to share our BIRTH STORY from the him + her perspective after baby's here, we're all settled & finding our rhythm as a family, and we've had time to process in our little sacred cocoon! Stay tuuuuned! We can't wait to share it all with you! :)
